TOOLUKA EXPEDITIONS

Tooluka Ltd. is a small company and will sail with tourists or any kind of expedition to high Southern (Antarctic Peninsula, South Georgia, Falkland Islands and Tierra del Fuego) and Northern latitudes (Greenland and onwards).
The enterprise specializes in small scale activities, with a maximum 6 guests, with respect for the environment and the elements.
When sailing with tourists, the main goal is to experience the overwhelming beauty and power of nature in these areas; the wildlife, the scenery and the insignificance of human beings is a very strong feeling in this environment. The duration of the trip will assure enough time to immerse properly in this wild Ant- and Arctic world.
No luxury, but in close contact with each other and the elements.

‘Tooluka’ is a 47 ft steel hulled double ender with a long keel and sloop rig. She has proved herself in several previous Antarctic seasons. ‘Tooluka’ will be operated from Ushuaia and Stanley.
She flies the Dutch flag and is skippered by Eef Willems. Eef will sail her yacht with one additional crewmember and guests.

Eef has extensive experience in Antarctic water; on sailing vessels varying from big square riggers to modern yachts, as captain and as expedition leader.
